This photo has been seen before but in a different context as I used it for a flyer of the Lewsberg show that I presented in Chapel Hill, NC last autumn. Here it is uncropped, unadorned and (as always) unedited as it is a straight scan from the negative courtesy of Memphis Film Lab in Ohio.
The camera used was my Canon AE1-P which I have written about several times in the past now. The film used was Ilford Delta 400 pushed one stop. Delta 400 was introduced in 1990 as part of Ilford's "Professional" range of films to compete with Kodak's T-Max. It’s not an Ilford film I have had much experience with (I’m an HP5 guy usually when it comes to the stocks they produce) but I do like the shadow, contrast and grain it gave in several instances on this roll. I will definitely run more through a different camera/lens eventually.
This week the sweets and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. I dunno if getting her posies every payday is part of the formula for relationship success but it I’ll continue doing so just in case.
