In the first installment of Compendiums Of Clang for 2024, I gave some reasons why the Sleeveens debut album is a fine example of honest, unadulterated rock-n-roll. I also mentioned in there that they’re a complete blast live. I got to experience that on a February evening this year when the band played at the Schoolkids record store in Chapel Hill, NC.
