It started with scrappy zines in micro print runs. Then on to alt-weeklies and semi noted publications that no longer exist. From there, website and blogs.

Dale has been musing about music, libations, photography and life in general for most his life.

His gigs in the straight world have included broadcast journalist, radio station general manager, show promoter, record label owner, travel editor, digital content director, photographer, clerk, vacuum cleaner repairman and father.

His disdain for the conventional was both a help and a hindrance in all those roles.

Dale grew up in the Midwest and currently lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Jacqueline and their cats.
